Let Love Quiet Fear was a group exhibition organized by For Freedoms and presented at Praise Shadows Art Gallery. In this exhibition, Thomas commemorates the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. with The Embrace, a new monument on the Boston Common. Thomas meditates on his concept of agape — the highest form of love that can only be known when we allow ourselves to let go of fear and anger, and recognize our innate interconnectedness. The exhibition was on view from January 12 through February 12, 2023, and is one of several events related to the unveiling of The Embrace, commissioned by Embrace Boston, on January 13, 2023.

The artists included in the exhibition highlight the urgent need to rediscover the precedence of love in the midst of current cultural, environmental and political crises. They include artists from Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C.: Paul Briggs, Erin Genia, Eric Gottesman, Ekua Holmes, DA Mekonnen, Helina Metaferia, Jo Nanajian, Kiyomi Quinn Taylor, Hank Willis Thomas, and Yu-Wen Wu.
