 is a news program as well as a live art installation, performance, and conversation from the For Freedoms ecosystem for creative civic participation in advance of the 2022 midterm elections. The artist-led reimagining of television news was presented during a residency at the Brooklyn Museum in the fall of 2022.

Three years ago, hopeful at the possibility of expanding the nuance in how media reports issues important to our communities, For Freedoms came up with the idea of starting its own artist-run media channel. When the Brooklyn Museum invited us to be in residence during the lead-up to the midterms, we rushed to make it happen.

Brooklyn Museum will be the first of several events where FFNEWS will occur, including the Untitled Art Fair in Miami in December 2022 and the LA Music Center in 2023.
